Hi, I’m Maggie Hendricks, Founder and Principal of Blue Monarch Consulting. I have 15+ years of fundraising experience and have held leadership positions in a variety of nonprofit organizations where I developed comprehensive fundraising strategies, designed and executed campaigns, and empowered organizations to turn ideas into tangible results.

I was inspired to launch Blue Monarch Consulting by my passion for mission-driven work and my observation that too many organizations struggle to achieve their missions because they don’t know where to start with their fundraising strategy or they lack the confidence to build meaningful relationships with donors.

Our work in the nonprofit sector is too important and too urgent to be held back by fundraising inertia. Whether your organization is ready to launch a campaign or simply needs fundraising advice, I am dedicated to empowering leadership, staff, and board members to become knowledgeable and comfortable fundraisers so that they can confidently grow their organization and create meaningful impact in the communities they serve.

I have a degree in arts management and a certificate in nonprofits and fundraising from the College of Charleston as well as a certificate in fundraising leadership from The Fundraising School of the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. I have held leadership positions with several organizations, including senior level fundraising roles at South Carolina Aquarium, Gulf of Maine Research Institute, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine.

To date, I have helped organizations raise more than $75M.
